Tiger sharks will eat practically anything. According to the NOAA, this includes fish, seals, birds, squid, small sharks, dolphins and an assortment of household items and scrap metal. Growing up to 18 feet in length, tiger sharks can reach weights well over a ton.
Tiger sharks are found in many tropical and temperate waters, and they are especially common around islands in the central Pacific. And contrary to popular belief, great white sharks do attack more people each year on average.
