Romance is not only for courtship. Romancing your spouse is even more important as the years go by. Men don’t always like to hear that, but there is good news. Everything you do that makes your wife’s life easier now qualifies as romantic behavior. Sometimes the smallest gesture can make an enormous impact. If you aren’t already practicing these wordless efforts, give them a try. Make it a priority to pay attention to your wife, and you will keep her completely enamored with you.

1. Pump It

However independent your wife, it is unlikely she ever cast a vote against chivalry. A woman feels cared for when a man vacates the vehicle to fill the gas tank. She does not want her fingers to smell like gasoline, and she does not want the wind to mess her pretty hair. Also, your wife does not want to start the car just to realize you ran it out of gas. It does not matter if you used the car for work or for picking up your in-laws from the airport. If you know she will be using the car next, seeing that you topped off the tank will reassure her of your admirations.
